Sanaaa Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Solo Player: The System mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your privacy.
Solo Player: The System is designed with a privacy-first, local-first approach.
By default, your gameplay progress, study sessions, focus timers, quests, settings, and other app data are stored only on your device. We do not collect or upload this information unless you voluntarily enable our optional cloud synchronization feature.

We only collect the information necessary to provide cloud backup and synchronization.
The App requires certain Android permissions to provide its core functionality. These permissions are never used to harvest personal information.
Why we need it: This permission allows the App to determine whether you open a non-approved application while a Focus Mode or Quest is active. How it is used: The permission is used only in real time to detect distractions and apply in-game penalties when required. We do not collect your complete app usage history, upload your app usage data, or sell/share your app usage information. All monitoring occurs locally on your device.
Why we need it: This permission allows the App to display Penalty Zone screens, countdown timers, and focus warnings over other applications. How it is used: The overlay is used only for user interface and gamification purposes. The App does not capture your screen, read screen contents, record your activity, or intercept your touch input.
The App uses Android Foreground Services to ensure study timers continue running, Focus Mode remains active, penalty detection works correctly, and optional cloud synchronization can complete reliably. Foreground Services do not collect personal information by themselves.
To support the development of the App, we serve advertisements to users who have not purchased the premium “System Override” upgrade.
We use Google AdMob to provide these advertisements. AdMob automatically collects certain device information, including:
This data is used by Google AdMob to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. Users who upgrade to the premium System Override will not be served ads, and the AdMob SDK is instructed not to load advertising content for these users.
The App uses trusted third-party services to facilitate core features, process subscriptions, and display advertisements. These services have their own privacy policies and may process data necessary to provide their functionality:

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. When cloud synchronization is enabled, data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored using Google’s Firebase infrastructure. However, no method of electronic storage or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the App, clear the App’s storage, or delete your player record. Cloud data is retained until you permanently delete your account.
You have complete control over your data. You can permanently delete your account at any time from:

Deleting your account permanently removes your cloud data associated with your account. Local data stored on your device will also be erased by the App during this process.
If cloud synchronization is enabled, your data may be processed on secure servers operated by Google Firebase, which may be located outside your country. By enabling cloud synchronization, you consent to this processing as necessary to provide the service.
This App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum legal age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within this document, and the Effective Date at the top will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
